Charles J. Munster

April 17, 1931 — January 15, 2006

Cahrles J. Munster age 74 passed away on Sunday January 15, 2006 at The Union Hospital in Union, NJ.Born in Newark, NJ, he lived in Cranford since 1957. He served his apprenticeship at Ballentine Brewry in Newark. He then went on to be a Machinist and Supervisor for Anhueiser Busch in Newark for 22 years before retiring in 1988. He served in The Korean War in The U.S. Navy on The USS Caloosahatche. He was a founding member of The Caloosahatche Reunion Committee. He was a member of The First Presbyterian Church in Cranford. He was a member of The Cranford Elks BPOE Lodge # 2006. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years to Elma (nee Kleinknecht) Munster. His daughter, Karen M. Cassidy ( Judge Of Superior Court for The State Of New Jersey) and her husband Mark. A son, John C. Munster and his wife Aileen. Four loving grandchildren, Patrick and Sarah Cassidy, Nick and Katie Munster. No visitation. A Memorial service will be 11 AM Thursday January 19, 2006 at The First Presbyterian Church of Cranford. Donation in lieu of flowers may be made to The Memorial Fund of the church 11 Springfield Ave. Cranford, NJ 07016
