Beverly J. Walsh

Beverly J. Walsh (October 26, 1931 – May 11, 2021), resident of Cranford since 1955, passed peacefully this past Tuesday at 89 years old. She was the widow of the late Ralph A. Walsh, sister of the late Thania LaRusso, and the matriarch of a loving family, including six children, 17 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren (with two more on the way). Born in Elizabeth, NJ to Kenneth and Thania Lissenden, she spent most of her life in Union County. Famous for the softest hugs, the most filling meals, and unconditional love, she always said that her family was her greatest gift and being a mother was her greatest honor.

Sons: predeceased by Kerry D. Walsh, wife Janet of Cranford, NJ; Sean K. Walsh, wife Edna of Jim Thorpe, PA; Michael P. Walsh, wife Donna of Saylorsburg, PA; and Brendan Liam Walsh, wife Megan of Cranford, NJ.

Daughters: Kathleen D. Bazydlo, husband Richard of Mountainside, NJ; Siobhan E. Zimmerman, husband Donald of Cranford, NJ; and JoAnne Walsh, daughter-in-law, of Swiftwater, PA.

Grandchildren and Partners: Donna and Jack, Jeremy and Stephanie, Jocelyn, Shane (deceased), Joyce and Jason, Erin and Chris, Jennifer and Brad, Kaitlin, Kiera and Jennifer, Shannon and Jeffrey, Bebhinn and David, Ryan, Gianna, Alyssa, Michael, Michaela, and Mara.

Great-Grandchildren: Jesse, Kyle, Kiya, Justin, Briant, Jackson, Jameson, Jorja, Blake, Reid, Cruze, C.J., Breelyn, Lily, Dresden, Shayla, Andrew, Ronan, and Juliana.

Sister-in-law: Georgina Hackett of Miami, FL.
