After discharge from the service, the couple moved back to Cranford where they have lived for the past 65 years. Beverly was a caring mother and friend who loved the New York Yankees, good food and time spent with family. Lyle and Beverly had just finished celebrating 67 years of marriage in September.
Survivors include her husband Lyle, their children, Kenneth Burnett, Kurt Burnett and Karen Burnett Dziurzynski along with the spouses Kimberly, Jayne and Michael. She is also survived by her six grandchildren Patrick, Jacqueline, Scott and Emily Burnett, Ashley Parson and Nicole Dziurzynski.
The family will be planning a memorial service 10;30 am Saturday November 23, 2019 in the Snyder Chapel of the First PresbyterianChurch of Cranford, to honor the life of a woman who was truly dedicated to her family, friends, neighbors and the Lord. May she rest in peace.
