Barbara E. Kuelling

Barbara E. Kuelling Fanwood Resident, Active in Redeemer Lutheran Church Westfield. Barbara Emma Kuelling, 82, of Fanwood, died Wednesday Nov. 21, in Overlook Hospital. Barbara's Life Celebration will be 2-4 and 7-9PM Friday (today) Nov. 23, at Gray Funeral Directors, 318 E. Broad St., Westfield. Her funeral service will begin at 10AM Saturday Nov.24, in Redeemer Lutheran Church, Clark & Cowperthwaite Pl., Westfield. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth. She was the beloved wife of the late William Paul Kuelling Jr., and is survived by daughter: Ann Minski and her husband Leslie of Fanwood, son: Mark P. Kuelling and his wife: Pamela of Gales Ferry, CT, three granddaughters: Elizabeth and Katherine Minski, and Jessica Kuelling. Barbara was very active at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Westfield, whether directing Vacation Bible School, raising funds through fellowship events, or serving on the Council and various committees. She relished traveling and was always planning her next cruise. She also loved the theatre in all forms and could always be found with a good book and a new pair of shoes. Most important to her, though, was her family, of whom she was so proud. She leaves behind many, many friends of all ages who will miss her warm smile, kind words, and culinary expertise. Donations in her memory may be made to Redeemer Church and School in Westfield.
