Annemarie was the fourth child of Alfred and Rose Crilly, raised in Linden with her three older siblings. When she was younger, Anne enjoyed t-ball, soccer, and cheerleading. She often reminisced on her days of working at Pizza Hut and Banana Republic. Her favorite pastimes included spending time with her family, including her dog, Leo, hanging around in pajamas, cracking jokes, and eating sweet treats with her kids. She was also known to grab phones and take a few selfies on them.
Anne graduated from Roselle Catholic High School, where she met some of her lifelong friends. She graduated from Kings College with her teaching degree and later went to graduate school at Kean University to become a reading specialist while raising 3 kids. Annemarie married her soulmate, Sam, in 1996. The couple met when they were just 15 and 16 on a blind date set up by their good friends. After they married, Annemarie and Sam moved to Cranford and raised their three children, Lauren, Erin, and Luke. Annemarie is predeceased by her brother-in-law, Mike Doran, and older sister, Ellen Doran, who each passed of cancer. Annemarie and Sam gained guardianship of their three nephews, John, Kevin, and Matthew Doran, raising them as their own. She loved each of her six kids with all of her heart, as being a mother/aunt was her biggest accomplishment.
Before kids, Annemarie was an elementary school teacher. Once her firstborn, Lauren, came, she became a stay-at-home mom (her favorite job) for over 10 years. Annemarie then went on to work at her local school as a teacher’s assistant and eventually worked in Elizabeth as an elementary school teacher. She had a passion, more of a natural skill, working with children.
Annemarie was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer six and a half years ago. Throughout her battle, she showed immense strength and fight, even being in remission for a few years. Even with this difficult diagnosis, she always maintained a positive attitude, continued to make jokes, and still loved going out to see her beloved friends and family until the very end.
Annemarie was the loving wife of 27 years to Samid Infante. She was a devoted and cherished mother to Lauren Infante, Erin Infante, Luke Infante, Leo (dog), She was a devoted aunt to John Doran, Kevin Doran, Matthew Doran, Natalia Kruk, Alexandria Kruk, and Louis Kruk as well as Donna and Jonathan Crilly. Annemarie is the beloved sister of Peg Crilly, John Crilly, Marazza Kruk and her husband Louis Kruk and daughter of Rolando and Maria Infante. She is predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Rose Crilly, and her siblings Ellen and Michael Doran.
