Alice A. Xenelis

Alice Andrews Xenelis of Cranford, NJ passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on Friday, March 3, 2017.
She is predeceased by her parents, Helen and Andrew T. Andrews. She is survived by her loving husband Strato of 68 years. They had many wonderful years together and enjoyed their trips abroad. Alice also leaves her daughter Helen X. Hamilton and son-in-law James. She was the proud grandmother to Allison Hamilton Vonk and her husband Dean, as well as a great-grandmother to Madelyn and Benjamin. She is also survived by her sister Theodora A. Andrews of Westfield.
Alice was born in Westfield, NJ on Oct. 25, 1927. She was happy being in the kitchen cooking up one of her special dinners or baking cookies and cakes. She loved entertaining and held countless gatherings for family and friends.
Friends and family are kindly invited to attend the visitation at the Gray Funeral Home, 318 East Broad St., Westfield, NJ on Wednesday from 10 to 11, March 29th. A memorial service beginning at 11 AM.
