Adeline A. Parsell

Adeline (Adele) Parsell passed away on June 30, 2016. Adele was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Adele was a Worthy Matron of Atlas Chapter 99 of the Order of the Eastern Star and active in her church.

Adele was born in Florham Park, New Jersey on December 4, 1925. In 1947, she married her husband, Russell. They raised their family in Scotch Plains and then in Westfield, NJ. June 21st was their 69th wedding anniversary.

Adele is survived by her husband, Russell, and their four children: Russell & his wife Kathy, Robert, Susan & her husband Charlie, and Ruth Desiree & her husband Jerry. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Krista, Tara, Matthew, Robert, Daniel, Samantha, Jason, Ceanna, and Emily, and five great grandchildren.

Visitation and life celebration will be Saturday July 2, 2016 from 9 am till time of service at 10 am. An Order of the Eastern Star service will be at 9:30 during the visitation. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ. Arrangements are by the Gray Funeral Home in Westfield. You may go to grayfuneralhomes.com for on line condolences.
